Good Morning!
I am very excited to share something that I have wanted to start since early 2020.
INTRODUCING…
Small Business and Sundry! *Activate Cheering and Oooh-ing Sound Effect*
In early 2020, I wanted to start a Social Media Management agency under RenBrooks LLC. I took the plunge and got a Business License in the state of West Virginia. But then I froze, like a deer in the headlights. I was scared, and I was unsure if I could do it. So I immediately backed out due to my fear. But as 2020 progressed, I noticed something. I was in the same place I was a year ago, and even a year before that. I was repeatedly getting the same results in my life because I had done nothing different. I stayed in my lane and didn’t try to expand my skills or do something crazy like break the mold. So this year, I decided to change that. I picked my tools back up, and here I am.
Small Business and Sundry is a powerhouse focused on helping small businesses solve problems that hinder them from expanding. With this new business venture, I want to build a community of entrepreneurs who look out for each other. Fellow entrepreneurs that could be further along on their journey compared to someone who is just starting.
So far, I have two different items that I can share with the community once I polish them up a bit.
- I combined different pieces of code, Google Sheets, and Google Docs to generate an in-house newsletter system. By updating the Google Doc each month, you can easily keep your newsletter up-to-date. Then you can archive the old newsletter on your website or file storage system. Whatever floats your boat.
- I also generated a Google Sheet to help companies review their Social Media Platforms. I still need to take the time to add in platforms other than Facebook and Instagram. But otherwise, it is fantastic to be able to help someone with something like this.
Also, as I encounter other issues with my business, I want to document the entire process to help spread awareness and to offer a solution.
Thanks for tuning in so I could help spread the good news. Until next time, I wish you the best.
